Keeps randomly downgrading to 4.3.2
Every few hours, Musescore just randomly reverts back to 4.3.2 and I cannot open files because they are saved on a newer version. I have to then download, install, and replace the updated application to use it again until the next time it downgrades. I want to say that it is triggered by closing the app or opening a score, but I've also just been working on a score and not been able to export because of the issue, which makes it seem like it is just happening without any action. Whenever I re-upgrade to 4.4.4, the application's date modified remains December 11th, the very first time I updated.

You said you have a Mac. I have very little experience with Mac computers, but no one answers you anyway, so:
It would probably be better to contact Apple support, but let's imagine what could have happened.
- Is it possible that you have several copies of Musescore and you launch different versions each time?
- If you installed Musescore through the AppStore, perhaps the AppStore rolls back the version to the previous one (if this is possible, I don't know). Is it possible to remove Musescore through the AppStore and install it manually? Here is the link https://musescore.org/en/download/musescore.dmg
- What about time machine? Can this thing do such tricks? I am not calling for disabling it under any circumstances. Although it should not behave like that
