Can I change the playback sound to something else after the song is done?
I wrote out a guitar piece as "acoustic" just to get the notes down, but now I want it to playback as a distorted electric guitar. Is that possible to change? Thanks

If you have the MuseHub Guitar Sounds Vol. 1 installed, open the Mixer (top center of MuseScore screen). At the top of the Acoustic Guitar channel, change the Sound to MuseHub / Guitar Sounds Vol. 1 / and select from the options. If I recall correctly, you will have six (?) possibilities for electric guitars, three each of Les Paul and Telecaster sounds, all of which can be further modified by the steps below.
If you do not have these sounds available, right-click in a measure (not on a note or rest or text, just in empty space within a measure). From the context menu, click Staff/Part properties.... On the dialog, change the Instrument to "Electric guitar".
Once the Instrument is changed, you can add text from the Guitar palette make the electric guitar sound "distort", "overdrive", "harmonics", "jazz tone", or "normal". Experiment with the text values to get as close to the tone you want as possible.
FYI: you can also use the Staff/Part properties... to change the Instrument to "clarinet" or any other instrument your heart could desire.
