resequencing bar numbers

Hi folks
It is so long since i last did this, perhaps MS2. that I have for gotten how to do it. I wish to start bar 1 as bar 48. I can remember having to add 47 to the sequence but have so far failed to find the menu to do this. please could someone point me to it? Thank you
