(Edited issue) Imported Music XML Chord Symbols coming in as Stave Text (so don't copy & paste or transpose)
Hi I am following instructions on how to cut and paste a range of chord symbols this from forum,. Select first chord, shift click last chord. Copy. Select first note or measure in target staff and paste. Only pastes first chord in 4.4.4. Mind you - doesn't work in 4.2 either.
Is there another way to do this or has something broken?

You mean "chord symbols" I guess?
If yes, works as expected here and as you describe (version 4.4.4 / Windows10).

Ok that is very helpful. thanks l. So I tried it on a new score . And yes it is working. BUT on a score where I opened an xml export from Sibelius it isn't working. I wonder if the chord symbols are being seen as something else by Musescore.

AND lo and behold. When I click on the chord symbols imported from MusicXML file the info in the bottom left hand cornersays the selected item is Stave Text, and when I add a new Chord Symbol and select it in the bottom left hand corner it says Chord Symbol.
So XML import is importing chord symbols as Stave text. I wonder if they are transposing....

No they aren't transposing eg if you paste from a concert staff to an Eb staff.

Or perhaps Sibelius is exporting them as something else?
