Channel tracks in Mixer
In the Mixer (F10) some parts can have more than 1 channel. How can I remove those extra channels in order to keep just 1 channel in that particular part?
In the enclosed example T1 has 1 channel (as desired), but T2, B1 and B2 each have 2 channels, one of them has to be removed. (Example imported from Sibelius in MuseScore 3)

The Instruments are Piano, nothing (!, defaults to Piano), Bariton and Bas(s), the assigned sounds though are Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax and English Horn, the latter 3 with 2 Normal channels each.
From the names I assume you want Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone and Bass (Barbershop?). For Tenor though it uses the wrong clefs, standard treble clef rather than treble clef ottava bassa
The Texts "ENSEMBLE" and "KOOR" are lyrics, but should rather be system texts (or maybe staff texts, if they are to apply to the top staff only).
All whole rests should rather be full measure rests
Quite a mess...
Best is to change the instruments, via the staves' properties. Then move the tenors down an octave
But the real culprit for those additional channels is the "Instrument change texts" "Solo(3)", "Solo (4) and "Solo (5)"

Thanks for your quick reply. It solved my problem.
I will inform the creator of the music (in Sibelius) about the "mess".
The sole purpose of these MuseScore files is to provide a way to practice for the members of our 4-part (Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, Bass) male choir. Therefore, the instrument sounds are illogical. Members of the choir can change the sound of their respective part to a sound that suits them best for practicing.
Anyway, thank you very much.

The mess might well stem from Sibelius' MusicXML export (or even from MuseScore MusicXML import, but that seems less likely)
