Chord Symbol playback keeps playing chords on top of each other

Hey guys!
I've recently had this issue where my chords keep playing over each other, and it's really annoying, because it messes with the tonality. I don't want to turn it off since it also helps me spot potential mistakes in my sheets, but I don't really know how to fix it.

One thing I've tried is playing around with the duration setting in the inspector, but it just flat out seems to ignore that.

On top of this, the chords also keep pretty much infinitely sustaining when I so much as select or edit them, where I remember that they used to stop whenever I deselected them. I've recently had to reinstall all my musehub plugins, and the issue came up right around that time. Could it be an issue with that? Or maybe the fact that I use "fill with slashes" along with chords in my sheets?
