Drop C# Tuning not working
Hi everyone, ive been trying to write some sheets for my guitar music but i cant seem to get drop c# or drop d flat tuning to work at all, ive added the string data many times and it seems to just play in standard tuning when i listen, and when i go to check the string data again it resets back to standard. is any way to fix this??

Are you writing tabs or conventional notation ?
String data changes would only be relevant for tabs.

I just tried this in Musescore 3.7 (I don't use 4.*) and it works fine.
See if the attached .mscz works for you.

" when i go to check the string data again it resets back to standard"
If you confirm string(s) editing with "Apply", then OK to exit the dialog, it is not possible for the tuning to be reset by the program. This means that it has not been validated by you.
" i cant seem to get it to work still on my piece"
If, despite the advice given above, something is unexpected (specifying the name and pitch of the string or strings concerned), please attach the .mscz file.

Your score doesn't contain any drop C# string data for Gt-II.

Sorry, we're both on Windows and using version 4.5.1, and yet I can't reproduce, see the GIF below, with the same sequence of actions. Obviously, we're missing something.

Right now I'm wondering.
Can you reproduce the problem after creating a new guitar (tablature) score?
