tempo and time signature changes
I have an score in Musescore 4 with these sections:
A: 6/8 bar to 60 bpm (pulse = a dotted 1/4)
B: 2/4 bar with label 1/8 = 1/8
C: 2/4 bar to 90 bpm (pulse = 1/4)
Shouldn't the speed of B be the same as that of C?
Musescore considers the speed of B to be 120 bpm (quarter notes).

Well, it is

Now, this is correct for me, but, how did you? I can't understand how it works as two scores are aparently the same thing!

I re-added that 8th = 8th

Thank you very much!

You had the tempo text of the 1/8 = 1/8 as 120 BPM, it should be 90 BPM as Jojo's.

He didn't have it explicitly set to 120, it for some reason got detected as such

Wasn't this a bug in previous versions of MS where the default tempo (120) is referenced rather than a manually added one (90) ?
In reply to Wasn't this a bug in… by rothers
There was none manually added.
The old bug was about the automatic detection not working right away, but only after switching off and back the automatic detection IIRC. Maybe this was the case here too?

Yes it is. So me re-adding it was just a red herring
