Small beams and stems for small notes (cues, etc)
The convention for cues in parts is to use small notes. Similarly editorial reconstructions are often shown by small notes.
Although there is the option to apply small noteheads, beams and stems remain the normal size, and though I can shorten the stems I can't see a way to make the beams thinner. A quick option to make the clef smaller would also be good.
In the case of reconstructions I'd like to be able to use a small size for individual notes to indicate that the original is missing or unreadable. I know I can choose a small stave for a whole part, such as a figured bass realisation, but can't reproduce that size of note in selected places on a normal size stave.
If it is possible already I'd be grateful for some instructions

Notes and stems get smalled, but not beams and beaned stems, enev in 2.0 Beta 1 this problem exists.
Agreed. This should be filed in the issue tracker.
EDIT: and is already - see #23137: Beam of small chord aren't small

I did try a search before I posted but didn't spot that.
