I'm unable to get the playback feature working

Hi,

I'm using Musescore 4.5.1. When I press the play button to hear my piece, it changes to the pause button and the long blue line appears but doesn't move anywhere and the piece doesn't play. The time counter also doesn't start. I also don't get and sound when a input a note. The audio on my computer definitely works and the toggle for note playback in 'Preferences' is on. I've tried factory resetting the app, leaving it for a day, turning my computer on and off again, and making a different score to test it and nothing is working. I've only recently installed Musescore studio so it's not like the feature worked originally and then stopped - this is the first time I've tried to use it.
