Dynamics across Piano parts
I am a noob here and I was wondering if there is an easy way of attaching different dynamics to the different lines within a piano solo, i.e. LH and RH at different dynamic levels. I tried writing the RH part in voice 1 and the LH part in voice 2, but I could only seem to get the dynamics to attach to the (blue) voice 1 parts. Am I doing something wrong, or is this not part of the current functionality?
I assume that I could get this to work by having 2 separate pianos and using their separate dynamic levels (and hiding the unused staves)?
Any ideas please?

Different dynamics for different staves is not implemented for playback in versions 0.9.5 or earlier. However there is already work done on this for the next release. See http://www.musescore.org/en/node/2021

David - Thanks for that! I figured that that may well be the case.
Would my idea for having 2 pianos and hiding the LH of one and the RH of the other (sort of) work? As I said, I am new here and am still finding my way around the controls.
Cheers.

No. Dynamics affect the whole system in versions 0.9.5 or earlier.

At least you've saved me a bit of time trying it out! I assume that this will be a major step forward in the next version? What is the frequency of new releases for this project? Is it regular, or just when there is enough new material to make it worth while? By the way, I think that you guys are doing a great job and are the reason for me switching to Ubuntu Studio, so I guess that Canonical owe you at least a pint for that alone :-)

Releases are not regular and very dependent on the stability of prereleases near the end of the release cycle. A time frame for 0.9.6 has not yet been set. My guess is before Spring.
