with MIDI, only chord are available
Hi everibody, and thanks for your patience.
I've tried to search in howtos and faqs, but with no results (maybe my fault...).
So, please:
I dont know what i've pressed (on keyboard or midi piano), but i'm no more able to edit notes with MIDI piano.
every time I try, a pop-up sais that "NO note are selected. select a note and retry".
so i've discovered that in some manner, now only chord enter is available from my MIDI.
form PC keiboard, otherwise, I can insert single notes.
may I ask an help, please?
thanks,
Dade

Can you post the score you are having problems with and dexcribe exactly - step by step - what you are doing? Also say what version of MuseScore and what OS.

Windows XP, with Musescore 1.3
I open the file, start my MIDI piano, click on the empty "battuta", enable "N" for insert note, and press one key on the piano. the answer is "you have not selected any note, please select a note and retry".
thanks for your time.
I suppose I've selected some combo of shortcuts, but I'm not able to deactivate it.

Do you perhaps have caps lock on, or is your Shift key stuck, maybe? What happens if after entering note entry mode, you type the letter A?

Try this:
Connect and start the keyboard, *then* open MuseScore.

OK, now it's working.
I dont know why, sincerely, maybe I had CAPS LOCK pressed, but I dont thik so.
Anyway, the order to start MIDI and MS is not mandatory, I've tried in both ways (and NOW it's working in both ways...).
Thankyou everybody,
Dade
