How to get 2 adjacent multi measure rests
I need a 9 measure rest followed by a 5 measure rest. Itreid various things but they keep combining to one 14 measure rest.
Does someone know a way of doing this?

disable multimeasure rest, the measure you want the break on, properties, exclude from muilti-measure, enable Multi measure again.
Or something Close to that ;-)
Found that inserting a section break does the trick.

Oh, had you posted in Technology Preview, I might have assumed you are using 2.0 beta 1. 1.x doesn't have section break ;-)

It's better to not use the section break for this purpose. You will have problems with the key signature being reset etc... Just right click on the last measure you want -> Measure properties -> break multi measure rest.

or use e.g. a rehearsal mark, this (and a few more elements) Interrupt an mmrest
section break will reset the measure couter too, so not a good idea to use it here

OK, I found the 'break multi measure rest' tickbox in the measure props. Contrairy to what you state, you have to click the first measure you don't want (start of the new rest).
Thanks for the advice.

Yep, that's what I meant with "Or something close to that ;-)"
Pretty much anything that should normally break a multi-measure rest automatically does - rehearsal mark, double bar, time or key signature change, tempo marking, segno/coda, etc. And indeed, it's normally only for one of those reasons that you would *want* to break a multi-measure rest. So it should virtually never be necessary to set the "break multi-measure rest" option manually.

Ahah.. I now completely understand, and I agree with the reasoning behind it.
I thank you for your extensive explanation.
