creating ghost notes for drum notation

Hi there,
I have been using Musescore for drum notation and it is working great. Just can't seem to figure out how to make ghost notes for the drums (the ones with parentheses). If anyone knows how to do this please let me know. I am using version 1.1 Thanks

So you are asking how to put parentheses around a note? In version 1.1, I believe you would use the Symbols palette for that. Click the note you want to add parentheses to, press Z to bring it up, then double click the left & right parent symbols. You will then need to adjsut their position.

BTW, 1.1 is pretty ancient; the current version is 1.3, and 2.0 is just around the corner (with beta available already). In 2.0, you would just double click a parentheses icon in the Note Heads palette.
