How to delete whole pages?

unfortunately it doesn't work here:
When I delete the bars content and after it the bars the whole program shuts down. Bug?

If you are using 1.3 on MacOS Mavericks / Yosemite, then yes, known bug that deleting measures can cause crashes. Workaround is to revert to 1.2 or try a 2.0 Beta / Nightly build.
If you are not talking about 1.3 on Mavericks / Yosemite, you'd have to post the score and steps to reproduce in order for us to say what is going on or have any chance of fixing it, but sure, crash = bug.

Ah....I had to delete bar after bar - now it works without the bug.

Select the measures you wish to delete, Ctrl+Delete. The pages go away if there are no measures. Just like in a word processor - you don't delete pages, you delete words, and the page go away when not needed.

everytime I select more than one bar or measures, the app crashes, but thanks for your help!

Yes, I guess I should have said 'Mavericks or later'
Should work fine with 1.2.
And with 2.0 Beta 2 too.
