1. Create score with 2 voices (i.e. Vila + Voice)
2. Fill few bars with scores in both voices (i.e. 3 bars of quarter notes)
3. Put end of repetition bar at the end of 3rd bar
4. Drag & drop start of repetition bar somewhere in the middle of measure of one voice
PROBLEM 1: Repetition bar shows up only in one voice
5. Drag & drop start of repetition bar in the same place but in another voice
6. Click play to listen
PROBLEM 2: When playback bar reaches end of repetition bar, does not come back to start of repetition but to the begin of sheet.

Right above the 2nd staff for me, but that seems to depend on the pitch or rather which line or space the note is on
Confirmed. It's a new side effect of this commit of January 22: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/commit/93d828f8ebf9f2390185bb79a…
- With previous Nightly on January 22: 2a48a78
Result:
- And with this one (same commit as mentionned firstly): 93d828f
Result:
Note : the first side effect was here: #46586: End barline appears before end of system for larger staff space values
According to my tests, the bar line gets properly positioned upon saving and reloading; can anybody confirm?
Saving and re-opening does indeed sort it.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build 399ea1d - Mac 10.7.5.

This fix breaks the placement of the initial barline:

That indeed fixes the issue from #6 now too.
Probably this fix caused other problem:

This is an entirely different problem, as such should be reported in a different issue. Also it may well be by design, or even a duplicate (#5223: Repeat barlines don't work in mid measure).
Indeed, that is by design, although design are subject to change.
