Fingering question
Is there a way to entering fingerings that is more akin to the way chords can be entered? In particular having to drag a finger number for EACH note-head as described here:
http://musescore.org/en/node/36146
is painfully slow for creating, say, scale exercises for beginning piano players. Wondering if there's a way to "move to the next note head and enter a number" in a similar fashion that one can do w/chords or lyrics (I know its a bit more complicated b/c what "next note" would one want to go to after a space or tab ... presumably the next note head w/a new pitch or something like that).
Thanks,

Nothing like chords, but you never have to drag - most palette items are added much more simply by clicking the note or notes you want to attach the marking to and double clicking the palette item. Double click works for almost everything in the palette, except for lines. and a few others things here and there, This should help quite a buit, but it's still not ideal.
There has been some thinking about how a simpler system for entering fingerings could work, but it's something that would have to wait until a future release.
To save time, you may selected (with Ctrl held down) a few notes (in one system or more) to which you want adding, e.g. fingering 2.
Then, double-click on this number in the Fingering palette. All selected notes will simultaneously receive this fingering. And then restart with fingering 1, 3, etc.

Also if you are fingering a chord, you don't need to drag each fingering numeral for each note. After entering the highest note finger, press enter and it will skip down. The numbers are aligned also.
