Can I have the old recorder samples back?
The old MuseScore 1.x had recorder samples that were somewhat sterile sounding, but therefore very useful when you were writing for larger ensembles.
The 2.x beta replaced that with samples that are out of tune and have an annoying vibrato.
How can I use the old samples in the new version?

Install the TimGM6mb soundfont and use the recorder preset from that rather than the Fluid one - which I agree is awful!
If you need further advice on how to do this please come back here :)
Or try another soundfont like GeneralUserGS or Timbres of Heaven. No reaosn to settle for TimGM6mb when there are much better alternatives out there. But FWIW, I like the FluidR3 version just fine :-)
