Paste Into Voice x
When I need to change voices for certain notes or elements, there is no easy way to cut from one voice and paste into another (Exchange Voice in the Edit menu only works for whole measures.)
Perhaps simply re-assigning the voice number in the Inspector would help, but ideally I would like to paste entire phrases, ornaments and all, into another voice.

If the destination voice is currently empty (or at least, compatible with the source), you can do this by simply select pressing the appropriate voice button or using the corresponding keybaord shortcut. If the destination voice is not empty, then this isn't going to work well no matter what...

The only way I can get this to work is to change the material to the desired voice first and then copy and paste it. I'm not sure if this will work for more than 2 voices and you have to paste voice 2 before pasting voice 1, otherwise voice 1 will be deleted as there will be rests in voice 1 in the original.
The ability to select individual voices and paste into voices would be an important feature to consider. All of the other programs have this ability.

There's the selection filter to help. Just deselect voice 1 before the copy

Yes of course, I forgot about the selection filter. It still doesn't solve the paste into voice problem. Or am I still being dense?

It doesn't allow you to paste into voice, but it does make imploding and exploding open/closed parts much easier.
