Is it OK to install v1.3 and v2.0 on the same Windows system?

Is it OK to install v1.3 and v2.0 on the same Windows system? And if it is, will v2.0 need to be installed in a new installation directory manually or does it automatically do this by default?

A friend of mine might have problems doing it manually--it can be a bit fiddly.

why not?
1.3 and 2.0: automatically install into a different directory by default
Nightly is extracted into a separate folder
can coexist and play together ;-)
