I added Repeats and Can't Remove them

When entering lyrics I must have hit some key that resulted in an object looking like a flag that goes in a hole at a gulf course being entered at the end of the last measure in my score and the first measure. What then happens is the song keeps repeating when I play it with Musescore and does not end.

When I print the score the flags do not show. I can't seem to highlight and delete them either. I don't know how they got there (must have been an errant keystroke on my part) or how to get rid of them. I did search the online manual under repeats to see if this was some repeat option but did not see anything.
