I found you can achieve the right effect by adding grace notes to the note after the trill. To place the notes in the correct position for the trill you can leave note entry mode, double-click on the notehead and use the arrow keys to adjust the position.
in nightly build , we can use them simply as it is provided...., but only with 'croche' ..... How to change them onto less long values ....? ;)
(or maybe some longer but I never saw it)

bien entendu la notation est correcte, et c'est la solution que j'avais adoptée d'emblée.
Mais cela oblige à un peu d'acrobatie en polyphonie pour l'alignement des temps.
La solution proposée par D.Bolton est meilleure car les notes apparaissent comme de vraies petites notes.
