Piano piece made with 0.9.6 RC1
This is a tune made with Windows XP SP3 Musescore 0.9.6 RC1 - Robin Frost's "Three Lost Bodies" composed in 1998. My only problem was that pushing notes around with a mouse at the end of a long (?) piece goes really slowly. Rather than adjusting a note with the mouse, it was faster to delete it and add it as a new note. Anyway, here's the link:

Could you describe what you mean by "pushing notes around with a mouse"? And why you needed to do it?

When I'm arranging music, after the piece is complete I often need to adjust a note from a 5th to a 6th, change an bass octave to a 12th, etc. When the piece is short, I can click on the note and change its value by just dragging it up or down. When the piece is longer, the mouse movement is not immediately reflected on the screen as the mouse moves. In the example I provided, dragging a note with mouse motion sometimes takes several seconds to manifest its movement on the screen.
I hope that MuseScore is not being designed for short pieces only - some music is going to involve a lot of notes.

Could you attach a score that demonstrates this problem?

Hmm.. The piece is copyrighted, so I hesitate to post the text of it in public. Perhaps I can send the "Three Lost Bodies" source to your "edu" address??

Have you tried using the keyboard instead of the mouse? Up/Down arrows and Ctrl up/down.

Yep - I tried that. Still kinda slow; not much faster than waiting for the mouse move to show up. And I only get a half step for every key press.
