Transform a "full triplets" 4/4 to 12/8

Hi,

I've just came into this piece La Cancion del Mariachi through a guitar tab found online.
I opened it in MuseScore cause I wanted to add the voice part but I'm not really sure about the tempo: is 4/4 but full of triplets so there are more triplets than eighths and quarters... does it makes sense??

Anyway the MuseScore point is, is there a way to transform this automatically in 12/8 so that I can quickly have a look at how it would be?

There is no way to do this automatically. A facility to stretch or compress rhythms is something being considered for a future release. Normally, the request is for halving or doubling; we should remember that converting triplets to eighths in compound meter is also usefu.
