Fermata Playback
Hello all! I have MS 2.0. I have been trying to figure out fermata playback. I found a discussion in the forums on this same topic:

Marc Sabatella, you mentioned a 'time stretch' setting in the inspector. I couldn't find one anywhere, or in the handbook. Where the heck is it?
Thanks!

The Inspector? By default, docked on the right. If it's not present, you can turn it on again from the View menu. Then click on the fermata, and the time stretch parameter is at the bottom of the Inspector.

Well, I know where the inspector is haha but thank you. I didn't know that you were supposed to click on the fermata in the inspector. I had been clicking on the note being, uh, fermata'd. Thank you very much.

Is there a way to have the custom value be set as default? Like if I wanted all fermatas to triple the notes value, could I set the default time stretch to 3?

Drag a fermata onto a note. Change its duration (via Inspector) to 3, 4 or whatever. Now [Ctrl][Shift]-drag the "new" fermata to a blank square in a custom palette. (see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/custom-palettes for information on creating a custom palette).
