straddle a beam twice "on the bounce" (see pic)
Hello! On the upper staff, I can't link the two upper quavers (second voicing, that wrongly looks like crotchets), does anyone encountered that hitch before?
Besides, what's up with the first one poking through?

It's hard to tell from just a picture. Please post the score you are having problems with, and say what version of MuseScore you created this with.

well, I don't know yet how to submit a score, but I thought a picture was worth a thousand words. I have the latest version running on mac os10.9.5. however, you might kindly try to reproduce the pattern, if you'd be so good, the pair of cluster with three ill-shaped quaver facing up should be linked. I'll try to submit something before long otherwise.

You attach a score the same way you did attach that image.
So your MuseScore version is 2.0.1?

As far as I can tell from the picture, those *are* crotchets with the upstems (presumably voice 1). They have no flags or beams, the second one is aligned vertically with the note on beat two in the bottom staff, and they are followed by a minim rest - everything looks exactly correct to me on the assumption that those really are crotchets. We would need the actual score to understand what makes you think they really are quavers.
As for what is going on with the downstem voice, though, I have no idea. Here again, we'd need to the actual score to understand. If I had to guess, I'd say maybe you have notes in both vocie 2 *and* and voice 4 that are overlapping partially - a both a quaver and and a crotchet on beat one. But that's just a guess.
