Ever since I got MuseScore 2.0.1, the sound does not work. I reinstalled it, but the problem still persists.

Oddly enough, reinstalling is less likely to fix things than running the factory reset process. Try it and odds are it will fix your problem. See https://musescore.org/en/node/35956 for details.
