So it has. That's good, as sometimes people judge an application by mistakes (even trivial ones) in documentation which is not under the control of the developers.
It's a very interesting comparison. As far as I'm concerned, most of the things Finale can do that MuseScore can't are "bells and whistles". There may come a time when I wouldn't want any further development of MuseScore (other than bug fixes or usability enhancements); I don't much like bloatware. Fortunately the core development team have a clear vision.
Reply because it used to be just about MuseScore and Finale Notepad (by the way, Notepad is inconsistently and incorrectly capitalized), but now we're comparing MuseScore to Finale Notepad, Finale PrintMusic, Finale SongWriter, and Finale.

Nice. I noticed a spelling error - "to some extend" should be "to some extent" each time.

I hope real-time Midi entry is on it's way, though, at least as an extension or plugin.

I shouldn't hold your breath :)
There's currently no-one on the development team with the skills or experience to write this kind of code.
So until someone comes along it will remain a wish.
