How can I make the playing in the open MuseScore keep repeating
I have put a sign at the beginning measure and a DS at the final measure.
It repeats only once.

Have you already checked Volta Properties:

Sorry, I was arguing with the PC ;-)
I believe that the behavior is correct. For more repetitions you need to enter the barline "End", then right click on the measurement and change Repeat Count

Do you mean there is not a simple answer?

This is a simple answer ;-)
A D.S repeats once, period. A section within repeat bars repeats once by default, and can get tweaked to play more othen by modifying the repeat count of the last measure of that section, the one containing the end repeat bar

Also, it is difficult to give a simple answer if you don't attach the score you are having problems with. Could be you attached the wrong marking (eg, DS al Coda, but you have no coda), could be you have turned off playback of repeats in your toolbar, could be something else going on in your score causing MuseScore to be confused about the playback (eg, mismatched repeat signs).

It shouldn't not possible to make an infinite repeat for obvious reason. If you need the score to repeat several times to practice, maybe check the loop feature: https://musescore.org/node/35971#loop
