Posible to change duration of several notes

I entered a score and noticed that several notes are 1/4 but are supposed to be 1/8 for instance. If I do that on those notes I get additional 1/8 pause. Thst requires me to move the rest of the score.
Is there a way to adjust the rest of the score when I change the lenth of a note? If I change from 1/4 to 1/2 the rest should be shifted to the right.

Is there away without copy paste to achieve that?
