Website player having trouble in Firefox?
This morning the player stopped working in Firefox on the Mac. Works fine in Safari. Yes, I restarted Firefox (didn't install a new one this morning) 38.0.5, Mac OSX 10.10.3. Other sites with Flash (e.g., YouTube) are functioning properly in Firefox. The player either doesn't appear, or appears and does not play and then disappears. I even just rebooted the machine (no avail).
Anybody else having this problem?

It works for me with the exact same configuration (Firefox 38.0.5, Mac OSX 10.10.3)

Occasionally some issues like that can be solved by holding down the Shift key and reloading the page to clear the cache.

I not only cleared caches and cookies but reinstalled Adobe Flash from the web. I'm short of ideas at this point, and will have to use the site on another browser. Sigh.

Try to see if you have installed and activated: NoScript and/or Adblock Plus

Bravo!
You got it. Adblock Plus must have decided that it doesn't like MuseScore. I suppose the site should advise "you may have to whitelist musescore.com for Adblock Plus."
Thank you, Shoichi!

That's weird because there is no ads at all on MuseScore.com. Do you know which blacklist you use?

Its apparent default: Easy list, Easy Privacy, Fanboy's Social Blocking list, and Malware Domains, the last of which was last loaded at 10:20 AM yesterday, precisely the time MuseScore started failing. Good luck!
From the Malware Domains site...
"Mistake fixed – update your blocklists

Last night’s update had an incorrect listing, please update your blocklists ASAP. Thanks"
Maybe it was blacklisting s3.amazonaws.com or another cloud site used by MuseScore to store images.

I updated filters and un-disabled and, sure enough, it's good now. Whew. I hope others are not caught in the window.
