playback ignores tempo text in first measure
I have a tempo text in the first measure of quarter note = 60, and another in the 4th measure with quarter note = 60. If you play the score you see that the tempo increases in measure 4.
It seems tempo text in the first measure is ignored, at least in this score.
In both cases the text is marked as Follow-text=TRUE.

in the 2nd tempo text I don't see the quarter note at all, in the 1st it is pretty high up, very unlike the ones from the palette?

I didn't use the palette at all.
I used the menu item "Add->Text->Tempo Text".

The text in the first measure was added some time ago, and the 2nd one was added today.
I've updated my git repo several times in the mean time.

Ah, that explains why I don't see it with 2.0.1
It plays back fine for me in a current build. Note there were changes to how the note glyphs are handled a couple of weeks ago. if you were using an experimental build (eg, a nightly build or one of your own) it's quite possible your score is out of sync with your build.
