Moving notes in unmetered music
In MS 1.3, I could write a line of text to be sung on one note and then simply drag the note to the begining of my sentence by clicking on it and using the left arrow.
When I do that in MS 2.0, the whole text line moves with the note as if it were anchored to that one note. The note has to be in the middle of all the text and I can't get it to the begining of my sentence. Half the text disappears off the screen by the time I get my note to the begining of the measure.
Is there any way of finding that way of working in MS 2.0?
Thank you!

Welcome, maybe I did not understand, with 2.0.1 if I double click on the note I can move it (Alt + arrow for precision movement);
or I can use Inspector/Element.
The lyrics (Ctrl+L) remain in their position.
If you want to attach here your score (or a portion of it) someone can check it

Perhaps the phrase is longer than the measure?
Use the Enter key to move to the second line of text

Here is my file
I went back and checked... even with the alt button, the text seems to be anchored to the note.
I am also sending a file that I did with MS 1.3

I found it!
I changed the alignement in text properties. It was centered instead of to the left.
