HELP File has different SoundFont on musescore.org
Just for the record, I think the new soundfont for Musescore 2 is awful. The amount of reverb is unreal, and for the pit instruments I work with, they just sound terrible and they don't blend together at all. As soon as I started using MuseScore 2, the first thing I did was change the default soundfont to the one used in MuseScore 1.3. And playback in the MuseScore program works fine. But when I upload to musescore.org, it uses the MuseScore 2 soundfont.

That sounded fine in MuseScore 2 (using Musescore 1.3 soundfont), but once I uploaded it the soundfont changed. The hihat was NOT nearly that loud, the timpani sounds like a distant thud, and the crotales sound like an electric ding and are seemingly about a sixteenth note late every time.
Is there any way to fix this?

For the reocrd, reverb is not function of the soundfont. There is a small amount added by default for any soundfont, but you can turn it up or down. There is no more reverb added for FluidR3 than there is for TimGM6mb. BTW, there are *many* soundfonts that are much better than TimGM6mb (the 1.3 soundfont) - you might checkout the section on soundfonts in the Handbook.
But indeed, musescore.com plays with the default soundfont. And of course, when people download your scores, they will play with whatever soundfont they happen to have installed. And people playing your with one of the mobile apps will hear the soundfont that comes with that, which is different still. So basically, the bottom line is, musescore.com is not a way to control how people hear your score.
It is probably a good idea to get a mix you like using the default soundfont, because that is what most people will be hearing. So you might want to play with the mixer settings to get a balance that pleases you, or simply add appropriate dynamics to your score.
