Play basic chords

Is it possible to have MuseScore play basic chords from just the text input of the chord letter tied to the note to a basic rhythm indicated by the time signature... similar to how Band in a Box plays chords from the text letter?

This will feature will help in the playback for learning tunes by listening to the beat (rhythm) given by the chords... more interesting than just listening to a metronome.

It's not possible currently. It's a popular request, and it's not impossible that someday some sort of crude functionality might be added in this area. But most likely, you'd be better off just using BIAB, or one of the open soruce alternatives like Impro-Visor, and we may end up integrating with one of these rather than spend a lot of time building anything elaborate.
