Notated "Random Notes"
If at all possible, I want to be able to write "random notes" like this (I don't know the real term for it.):
(Suite Dreams, S. Bryant; Angels in the Architecture, F. Ticheli)
I do not think audio playback would be necessary, but just being able to put this into a score would be beneficial.

For the first example, create 8th note and change the notehead type.
For the second, enter the right notes and make the measure stemless.

I was able to do that in my score, but is there a way to have the repeat in the bar without having it in the entire score and a way to have the same wide bar shown in the second example?

If you want the appearance of repeats bars for one staff only, add them from the Symbols palette. Not sure what you mean abotu the "same wide bar".
