Is this repeat possible to notate?
I want to DC al segno (?), then jump over part of the score to another segno (then play to "jump to Coda" etc). Is it possible to do this with standard notation?

Hi. I do not understand what you mean. Can you please make your question clearer?
Da Capo al Segno al Coda?
In reply to Da Capo al Segno al Coda? by Isaac Weiss
Da Capo, al segno, al segno, al Coda.
In other words, go back to the beginning, play until the 1st segno, then jump immediately to a 2nd segno (skipping a section of the score); play from 2nd segno until an "al Coda" indication.
I think the wquestion is less whether it is "possible" than whether the average or even above-average - musician will be able to follow such a non-standard roadmap. As someone who has conducted and played in ensembles and witnessed much more than my share of trainwrecks and wasted time in rehearsals, I always urge people *not* to try anything but the msot most simple / common roadmaps.
