sign fonts have disappeared after downloading windows 10
There is no sound on musecore since downloading windows 10. Also there is no choice of music sound fonts.
Any ideas as to how I should proceed to get this back please?

Thanks for replying. I've now managed to sort the problem out. Apparently there is a bug in windows 10 and someone has posted how to fix it as follows:-
Right click on the speaker icon, then click playback devices, then highlight the speakers, then properties, then advanced, then go for 24 bit, 96000 and apply.

Thank you for the information. It will be useful to someone
Hmm, I guess Windows 10 must have changed the location of your home folder, and probably other other settings are wrong now to. I suspect the best thing to do would be following the instructions under "Revert to factory settings" in the Handbook, doing your best to figure out how to adapt those instructions for Windows 10.

You have Windows 10?
Didn't think it was out yet.
PS Incidentally 24 bit 96KHz is awfully high quality for general playback of Audio - you could well run into glitching problems unless you have a high end processor and loads of RAM.

Yes, I now have windows 10. What sort of glitching problems do you foresee.
I just have an ordinary Acer laptop, so not sure what high end processor I have or how much RAM.
