SOLVED: Fretboard diagram edit window won't open
Hi, I just upgraded to 2.0.2, and now I am unable to edit my guitar fretboard diagrams.
When I try to open the edit window (Command-E, or Control-click for mini menu), nothing pops up. The problem exists in both new and existing scores (scored created in earlier versions of MuseScore).
I had no issues with this until I upgraded to this new version of MuseScore.
Running on:
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2011)
OS X 10.10.4 (Yosemite)
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Thanks for your help,
Mimi

Ctrl+E is not the right shortcut; that puts you in Edit Mode which allows you to nudge an element with the arrow keys. But Ctrl+Click should certainly bring up the context menu. Are you saying it doesn't, or thsat the menu doesn't contain the option "Fretboard Diagram Properties"? Hmm, make sure you aren't in Edit Mode when you right click; that won't work. If you've pressed Ctrl+E first, you will need to press Esc to exist Edit Mode (or click somewhere else) to return to normal mode.
If this doesn't help, please post one of the scores you are having problems with and give precise step by step instructions to reproduce the problem.

Aha! It's because I was in Edit Mode (I couldn't tell that I was).
Thank you, Marc!

You're welcome. BTW, the current mode displays in the lower right of the window (status bar). Normally it says nothing, but while in edit mode, or note input mode, or a score is playing, or you are editing text, etc, it displays an indication.
