Automatic Legato with Muse Guitars
Hi guys,
So, according to the Muse Guitars vol. 1 manual:
"By default, the guitars play back with legato. For phrases where individual
notes are faster, the playback automatically switches to a special “Fast” mode,
mimicking real-life player techniques."
I tried writing a few licks to better understand how that works, and what I'm hearing is that the guitar doesn't play with legato, but when played fast, it uses legato. What I'm wondering is if there's any way of changing this behavior. I tried using down bow and up bow symbols (which, as far as I understand, are the default way to write pick direction in sheet music) to indicate I meant the lick to be alternate picked, but that didn't seem to change anything, and I also used the slur to try to make it use hammer ons on the slow section, to no avail. I'm attaching a screenshot of the file I tested this on, as well as the exported playback to show what I mean.
Is this a bug with articulations not working or did I mess something up? I'm very new to not only musescore, but notation in general, and these feel like sensible default behaviours, but as someone who wants to use musescore to study solos, it feels weird to write articulations without being able to check by sound if I wrote them correctly.
