What note are you seeing missing? When I tried, I got four notes in thre first chord, three in the second, just as in the original. And the pitches are all correct: E C E A in the first chord, E C E in the second.
However, it is true that the result is not technically correct. The half note on the top string "A" on beat 1, voice 1 should probably have prevented a quarter note from being placed on that same string on beat 2, voice 2. But it seems that is legal input for tab. Not sure if that is by design or not. Seems it might be, though - given the nature of plucked string instruments (durations are not as precise as for other instruments) maybe it was thought to err on the side of flexibility.
