Spacing of staves
Using MS v2.0.2 Rev f51dc11 and Win 7 Professional.
I'm resetting a male Voice 4-part song with 3 verses. As each voice is doing something different from the other voices, I've had to include the lyrics for each separate voice which means the Tenor and Bass staves are further apart than normal to give clarity for the singers.
Now, when I get to the chorus, there is just one line of lyrics, not three but MuseScore has given the same spacing for the staves.
Is there any way of leaving the spacing for Staves in the verses as it is but reducing the stave distance just for the chorus?

I would suggest just to change the stave properties and degrees the space.

I can see the result and that's exactly what I want but I can't work out what steps to take to get that effect. can you enlighten me?

Hi, I just used right click on the lower stave and selected Stave properties. Then I adjusted the extra distance above the stave to a lower value.
The spacers you have inserted will ensure you have the proper distance where there are 3 lines of text.
