Explode tool doesn't work with percussion set? ???
Hi, gang!!!
I've been trying to rescue some old MIDI files I wrote time ago with another MIDI software and, of course, there are some things to do to translate it to MuseScore format (to get a final decent music score).
I couldn't "explode" the percussion drum set staff of the attached piece, I don't know why.
I use MuseScore 2.0.0.
Maybe "Explode" tool doesn't work with percussion set? ???
Some help (to avoid to have to do it manually), please!!!
BTW: I don't understand why some note from the Basson appears as red (not available). Basson should give it (or Maybe am I wrong? ???)
Greetings & Blessings
Juan

I'm not sure what you were expecting to happen, but I don't see any chords anywhere on the drum staff, so there is nothing to explode. I guess you were maybe hoping for explode to work *differently* for drum staves than other staves, not exploding chords, but perhaps taking each different pitch and putting it on a separate staff. That's not what explode does, though.
As for the bassoon part, it contains notes that are out of range for that instrument. Note the clef is the octave-transposing bass clef. Those low G's are two and a half octaves below middle C, not one and a half. My guess that entire bassoon part is meant to be an octave higher.

Yes!!! You're right, Marc.
Such a fool I am!!! I didn't notice the bassoon clef. Hahahahaha!!!!
Thank you so much for your "good eye"!!!!!!!

Yes, Marc. I expected explode taking each notes from the percussion staff and put in on separated staves.
Well, now I know it doesn't do that.
But... There should be that capability (Maybe a new tool? ???)

Certainly a possibility, but probably un unusual enough special case that it's better suited as a plugin.
