Dynamics and hairpin positioning for vocal scores
Dear Friends:
I'm new to 2.0 and wondering if I've missed the way to fix my problem.
Is there a way to adjust where hairpins and dynamics are places when dragged into the score? I write almost entirely vocal and choral scores, so when I drag in these elements, they invariably end up below the staff (instrumentalist default), intermingled with the lyrics. This just eats up so much time trying to click on and move these elements without grabbing a syllable.
In 1.1 the default placement was above (and treasured).
Thoughts?

You can change the hairpins position in Style > general > lines
And the dynamics in Style > Text > Dynamics.
If you create mainly vocal music it might be worth creating a template (save the file in Documents/MuseScore 2/Templates).

Hi again, lasconic:
so, I was able to get my hairpins to work with this setting, but not dynamics (it's not on the list). Should I ask for this in the feature request thread?

Dynamics position are set in Style / Text / Dynamics.
