Help! Question about note groupings

I'm brand new to Musescore and am liking it quite a bit. Incredible that its free and has featues comparable to big hitters like Finale and Sibelius.

I was wondering if there was a way to customize note groupings. For example, Instead of having 4 8th notes attached by one beam for beats one and two of the bar, Is there a setting where I can instead have 2 individual groupings of 8ths instead of 1 group of 4?

Being a drummer and educator, I find it beneficial for students see each beat of the bar isolated when forst learning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
