Multiple accidentals of the same note
Unless it's for the sake of retaining the tone (as you input other notes for the future that may change that), should you be allowed to place naturals (for a C-major score) where there's no other accidentals, or indeed multiple ones (the latter as attached)?
Although I'm struggling to reproduce (I do believe I've encountered it a few times), sometimes notes have sounded like their accidentals because the sign fails to appear. Has anyone else had this problem?

Maybe this could actually be a plug-in, or a feature (similar to this )?
MuseScore would remove the extra unneeded ones (after you're finished with note entry, etc).

#1 on my own list of things I'd like to try to do in a plug-in is a facility to add courtesy accidentals, which I think is basically what you're getting at, although I'm not entirely sure from your example. Normally, we use courtesy accidentals to confirm that an accidental in the previous bar is now officially cancelled. Like, in C major, if you have an F# in one bar, we all know an unadorned F in the next bar is F natural, but it's common to include a natural sign on it anyhow. Some publishers go so far as to put a courtesy accidental on the next F that occurs seen if it is many measures later. I'd want to make my plug-in user-configurable.
This is one of those those things that seems like it *should* work in the current architecture for 1.0, but unfortunately doesn't seem to. Altering the parameter that supposedly controls display of courtesy accidentals has no effect. I could rewrite the measure from scratch, but then I'd lose articulations and other markings. I'm told that the internals of how this works changed in the trunk, so at some point I need to go and try it. but courtesy accidentals are pretty broken in the trunk - they don't transpose properly. So I'm assuming there is still work going on there.
Hopefully this is at least somewhat relevant to what you're talking about...

My example was demonstrating sometimes you put additional accidentals (not for reasons of courtesy) in the bar (see the second natural found in the image), when they are already covered before.
However, the idea of courtesy accidentals now potentially throws this suggestion off.

I'm not sure what he purpose of that second natural was if not just a "courtesy" - it seems like the same basic idea of putting an unnecesary accidental in just to hopefully aid readability. Another example would be putting a natural on a high F after previously putting a sharp on a low F - not necessary, but helpful.

I know it's a bit confusing (sorry).
I had problems previously with accidentals (don't think they were courtesy either), but I can't reproduce (or maybe I have in my topic !).
To refine the issue better: Can we have an option to clear courtesy accidentals?
I've sometimes applied accidentals during editing, but not necessarily for courtesy purposes - particularly if you are working in reverse, from the end towards the start of bar (not necessarily for the sake of being complicated, just to make amendments). When I'm looking at a score to try and remove such instances, I sometimes miss some.
Even without this example, I'm sure the option could still be useful generally.
