play back does not work at all, synthesizer grayed out too.
I have a Mac Intel running OS X 10.4.11
I downloaded MuseScore 9.6.3 and cannot get any play back. The play panel window doesn't show up. Also the synthesizer is grayed out.

Do you get any error messages?
If you go to Display > Synthesizer, what does it say for the location of the SoundFont?

no error message. When i go to Display>Synthesizer it is grayed out, I cannot get to it.
