Polytonal key signature

• Nov 27, 2010 - 20:19

Hi! I've created a polytonal key signature in Muse Score, but when I create a new score it is not displayed among the default key signatures in order to select and use it. Could you please fix this problem!? I've also attached a picture of this polytonal key signature and I hope Muse Score is able to render correctly the score with this kind of key signature. I've used other software till now, but they aren't able to create custom key signatures. I hope Muse score is or will be able of doing this.

For me, this is working correctly. I create the signature using Create --> Key Signatures, dragging the flats and sharps to create the one in your picture, and then I click add and it appears in the left side of that mini-window. I can drag it to the score. I quit out and enter the program again, creating an entirely new score. Create --> Key Signatures, and there it is, still there.
It is notably Not in the palette, but I don't know that it needs to be there.

Are you doing it the way I mentioned?

I didn't know that it works by drag-and-drop with the time signature; then, the only thing that remains to be fixed is that of displaying the custom key signature among the standard ones.

another problem is that if I select a vocal staff it renders the music with choir oohs/ahs, while I wood like to render the vocal composition with piano timbre and not artificial human timbre (other software render vocal compositions, by default, in keyboard piano timbre). Is there a way, other than choosing a keyboard staff, to choose with which timbre to play the score?
