Unexpected Layout Changes
I finished a score and saved it. I then saved it again as a PDF. Later I re-opened the score and the layout had changed - basically the line breaks changed so a bar that was the last one on a staff became the first one on the staff below and so on. This wouldn't normally matter but I had some text that moved with the note it was attached to and the result after the change to the layout wasn't what I wanted.
I have PDF's of the before and after layouts but as it's a transcription of a copyrighted arrangement I assume I can't post them and I can't edit PDF's to isolate a small section. What do you do in this circumstance

Were you reopening the score on the same computer? Did you have the same fonts available on both computers?

Yes, it was the same PC and I'm not sure if it's relevant, but I hadn't shut it down between saving and re-opening.
I'm not totally au fait with copyright law but could I email somebody the PDF's or is that still iffy?
