Currently, it is impossible to put a clef between a grace note and the principal note. This feature request is to allow specifically that, because there is no clean way to do this outside of absurd usage of invisible notes that would generally have the end result looking really ugly. See the attachment for an example.

Found the following workaround, specifically for acciaccatura/appoggiatura figures (grace notes with slash):
You should be left with something that looks like the attached picture.

This was hard to do when the grace note sits before the first note in the measure, as the clef wants to sit in the prior measure.
To work around this, I did the following.
1. Inserted a new measure before, with length set to 3/16, and removed from measure count.
2. Insert bass clef after the first semiquaver, and put in the desired grace note in the remaining quaver
3. Set the note as cue size
4. Hide the first semiquaver, the notes in the other stave(s) and the barline after the grace note
5. Offset the bass clef to the right
